I am a qualified expert witness in Family and Juvenile courts regarding trauma and the impact of domestic violence on children and adults, child abuse, substance abuse and a variety of child custody-related topics.
ABOUT
I have over 25 years experience working with clients dealing with a wide variety of interpersonal issues, including family conflict, divorce, child custody, parenting issues, depression, addiction, and anxiety. Research has proven that the parental relationship directly impacts a child's mental health, including their self esteem and social skills. I am a warm, dynamic and solution oriented therapist. I work along side you, to help you identify and overcome the problems which are causing pain in your life.
My specialties include psychotherapy with very young children, children with special needs, Child Custody Evaluations, Special Master work, recommending mediation, and co-parenting counseling. My approach is fairly simple: Your child's voice matters. Especially when they are young, it is easy to assume what works best for you will work for them. This is often the case, but not always. Like all of us, they communicate with words and behaviors. Let's listen to them and see what we can do to make things better.
COVID POLICY:
Due to the COVID Pandemic, I offer remote sessions through a secure online portal. I also offer in person appointments. In order for me to see you or your children in person, you must be fully vaccinated if you are over the age of 12 years. All adults in your respective households must be fully vaccinated as well. I am fully vaccinated and take precautions very seriously to protect the health of all my clients and myself.
